ZENTIF In-House Developed DN2000 Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve Passes Performance Tests

News Excerpt: ZENTIF's independently developed DN2000 WCB double eccentric butterfly valve has passed shell, sealing and opening-and-closing tests, demonstrating its large-diameter valve development and manufacturing capabilities.

ZENTIF has completed the development, production and testing of a DN2000 double eccentric butterfly valve with a WCB cast carbon steel body. The valve passed shell, sealing and opening-and-closing tests, with the inspected performance meeting the applicable acceptance requirements.
The DN2000 valve represents an important achievement in large-diameter valve development. At this scale, dimensional control, component alignment, sealing assembly and operating performance all require careful coordination throughout manufacturing and inspection.
The double eccentric configuration offsets the disc’s rotational axis from the sealing centerline and pipe centerline. This arrangement helps the disc move away from the seat during opening, reducing contact between the sealing surfaces through much of its travel.
Testing covered three key aspects of valve performance. Shell testing checked pressure containment, sealing testing evaluated closure performance, and opening-and-closing testing verified operation of the assembled valve. Together, these checks provided a basis for assessing the completed product before release.
This project reflects ZENTIF’s ability to bring in-house valve development through production and performance verification. For customers sourcing large-diameter butterfly valves, the company can discuss project requirements including nominal size, body material, pressure rating, connection dimensions and operating method.
